Messika Embraces Crypto: Luxury Jewelry Brand Accepts Cryptocurrency Payments Globally

French jewelry brand Messika has taken a significant step towards integrating cryptocurrency payments into its operations. The brand, in partnership with Lunu, will now accept Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Tether (USDT), and Solana (SOL) as payment options across both physical stores and online platforms. This move allows customers to easily complete transactions by simply scanning a QR code, without incurring any extra fees. This initiative aligns Messika with other luxury brands such as Farfetch and Off-White who have recently adopted cryptocurrency payments. Nicolas Zanelli, Messika’s CFO, confirmed that the crypto payment solution is now available in all their physical boutiques and online stores. Lunu’s founder highlighted the move’s targeted approach to cater to the unique needs of high-net-worth individuals within the tech sector. The adoption of cryptocurrency for luxury goods continues to grow at a rapid pace, boasting an annual rate of 47%.
