Loopscale, a decentralized finance platform, has successfully recovered nearly half of the $5.7 million stolen in a security breach on April 26. This recovery comes after successful white-hat negotiations with the perpetrator, who exploited the RateX PT token pricing function to drain funds from the platform’s vaults. In a post on X, Loopscale disclosed that approximately $2.88 million in WSOL, representing almost half of the stolen amount, has been returned since April 28. 10,000 WSOL ($660,000) and an earlier batch of 5,000 WSOL (~$740,000) were successfully recovered in three tranches. 19,463 Wrapped Solana (WSOL), the focus of the recovery, represents a significant milestone.
