Cardano (ADA) founder Charles Hoskinson has announced the integration of Bitcoin (BTC) into the Lace wallet, marking a significant milestone in the development of the blockchain’s multichain vision. The update was announced on X by Hoskinson himself, who greeted Bitcoin with a simple yet impactful statement: ‘You can now use Bitcoin with Lace. Welcome home, Bitcoin.’ This integration is a major boost to the Cardano blockchain and represents the Lace ecosystem’s acceptance of the leading digital asset. 1.22 version of the Lace wallet introduces Bitcoin Beta support, allowing users to securely store and manage their BTC directly within the app. 1.22 also expands beyond just Cardano and plans to support other blockchains in the future.
