Nike Faces Lawsuit Over NFT Shutdown, Buyers Claim Losses

Nike is embroiled in a lawsuit from NFT buyers who lost significant money following the abrupt shutdown of its digital asset division, RTFKT. The class-action lawsuit, filed by Australian resident Jagdee Cheema, alleges that the company’s December 2024 closure of the RTFKT unit resulted in a sharp decline in the value and demand for their NFTs.
