Lazarus Group Leverages Fake Companies to Deliver Malware in Job Interview Scams

A sophisticated cyber attack by the North Korea-linked Lazarus hacker group has been uncovered, targeting unsuspecting individuals through a fake job recruitment scheme. This operation leverages three shell companies – BlockNovas, Angeloper Agency, and SoftGlide – posing as legitimate crypto consulting firms to distribute malware disguised as job interview processes. According to Silent Push cybersecurity firm, victims are lured into this elaborate scam by phony job offers that lead them to malicious websites.
