Vitalik Buterin Proposes Replacing Ethereum’s EVM with RISC-V

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin has proposed a radical idea to enhance the Ethereum network’s efficiency. He suggests replacing the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) with RISC-V, a low-level virtual machine language widely used outside the blockchain space. This proposal could significantly improve Ethereum’s scalability by addressing one of its key bottlenecks.
