SEC Delays Decision on Polkadot ETF Submission

The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has pushed back its decision on whether to approve a proposed exchange-traded fund (ETF) that would invest in Polkadot’s native token, regulatory filings indicate. The deadline for the SEC’s final ruling has been extended until June 11, nearly four months after Nasdaq requested approval to list Grayscale’s Polkadot Trust in February. This delay follows a growing number of applications from asset managers seeking to launch ETFs, including funds holding altcoins and memecoins.
