Sam Bankman-Fried Transferred to Lower-Security Prison After Time in Violent Facility

Sam Bankman-Fried, former CEO of FTX and co-founder of the now-collapsed cryptocurrency exchange, has been transferred to a lower-security prison in California after spending nearly two weeks at Victorville Correctional Facility. This move follows his time at a notoriously violent facility known as ‘Victimville,’ which had been notorious for its gang violence and frequent inmate assaults. 3 hours from his previous location, Bankman-Fried’s new home is the Federal Correctional Institution Terminal Island in Los Angeles.
