SEC and El Salvador Collaborate on Digital Asset Sandbox Pilot Program

On April 22, 2025, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) met with El Salvador’s National Commission on Digital Assets to discuss a pilot program for cross-border digital asset regulation. This collaboration between the SEC and El Salvador seeks to develop a framework that fosters innovation while maintaining responsible financial practices.
