Following the launch of Grayscale’s Bitcoin ETF, CEO Peter Mintzberg has revealed his strategic plans for growth. In an interview with Fortune magazine, he outlined his intention to expand the company’s product offerings to broaden client engagement. These new offerings include existing or planned exchange-traded funds (ETFs) targeting various cryptocurrencies, participation in Ethereum staking opportunities, and funds designed around selling covered call options. Mintzberg is also establishing a national sales team, which now includes 19 dedicated professionals, although he declined to disclose specific client details. However, his previous experience working with diverse clients including family offices and sovereign wealth funds at Wall Street asset management firms suggests his current efforts will target a similar clientele.
