Revolut Under Fire for Crypto Transfer Errors

Financial technology company Revolut has come under scrutiny after Bulgarian citizen Tzoni Raykov experienced significant crypto asset losses due to unresolved refund requests following a technical error during a transfer. The issue stems from Raykov attempting to transfer $1,500 worth of USDC to his Revolut account from a separate wallet, encountering problems while choosing a different network option. Revolut’s inability to support the ‘Polygon (bridged)’ network for USDC resulted in the asset conversion being unsuccessful and leaving Raykov without the funds or a refund.
