Bybit CEO Reveals $1.4 Billion Hack, With Unrecoverable Funds

The cryptocurrency exchange Bybit has been hit by a major hacking incident that resulted in the theft of approximately $1.4 billion. The heist was attributed to the North Korean-linked group Lazarus, and CEO Ben Zhou confirmed the vast scale of the breach. While authorities are working on recovering assets, nearly 28% remain unrecoverable due to the sophisticated tactics used by the hackers.
