Bitcoin Whale Activity Booms as Large Holders Accumulate

A surge in activity among large Bitcoin holders, known as ‘whales,’ has been observed in April, according to data from Cointelegraph. The number of addresses holding more than 1,000 BTC has increased significantly since early March, signaling a notable shift in whale accumulation. Glassnode reveals that this trend marks a four-month high with over 2,100 wallets exceeding 1,000 Bitcoin by April 15th. This resurgence of activity echoes previous spikes witnessed in November and December, coinciding with market surges following the U.S. presidential election of Donald Trump in 2016.
