Spar Supermarket Introduces Bitcoin Payments in Switzerland

Global supermarket chain Spar has adopted Bitcoin payments at a store location in Zug, Switzerland. This move marks the latest step towards mainstream cryptocurrency use for everyday transactions. The Spar supermarket is now offering Bitcoin (BTC) payments via the Lightning Network, enabling customers to pay directly at checkout using QR codes.
