Coinbase Faces New Lawsuit from Oregon Attorney General

Coinbase is embroiled in a legal battle again, this time with the Oregon Attorney General’s office. The state accuses Coinbase of operating illegally as an unregistered securities broker and for violating federal securities laws due to its staking program. This lawsuit echoes a prior SEC case from 2023 that was dismissed earlier this year.
