Family Offices Prioritize Ethereum over Bitcoin in ETP Allocations

Family offices are showing a clear preference for Ethereum when it comes to investing in exchange-traded products (ETPs) compared to Bitcoin, according to data from Bitwise. As of December 31st, 2024, family offices and trusts allocated just 0.13% of their assets under management (AUM) to spot Bitcoin ETPs, a fraction of the 0.62% dedicated to Ethereum ETPs. This indicates that family offices are more inclined to invest in Ethereum, leading to a significant disparity in allocation.
