Binance, the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchange, has revealed the results of its recent user-driven decision to list and delist altcoins. The platform’s initiative allowed users to cast votes for which cryptocurrencies should be added or removed from trading on its platform. 5 altcoins emerged as top contenders based on these votes, with FTT (11.1%), ZEC (8.6%), JASMY (8.6%), GPS (8.2%), and PDA (7.6%) claiming the highest positions. 2nd batch voting to delist has ended and now the final decision rests on Binance’s review process for each project. The inclusion of privacy-focused cryptocurrency ZEC generated a backlash within the industry, prompting Binance to clarify that this voting result is not definitive, as they will evaluate project performance alongside other crucial factors when making their final decision. This process will also take into account the delisting timeline based on established procedures.
