Oklahoma Senate Rejects Bill to Establish Bitcoin Reserve

Oklahoma’s Senate has voted down HB1203, a bill that aimed to establish a Bitcoin reserve for public funds. The 6-5 vote came during a taxation committee meeting and effectively ends Oklahoma’s pursuit of creating a Bitcoin reserve for its finances. The proposed legislation would have allocated 10% of public funds towards Bitcoin investments.
