LagRide Drivers Opt for Alternative Apps Amidst App Dispute

Drivers operating on the LagRide platform now have the freedom to choose other ride-hailing apps, following a meeting between drivers, representatives of the company, and officials from the Amalgamated Union of App-based Transporters of Nigeria (AUATON). This decision comes after an agreement was reached, where the Lagos Chapter of the NLC granted captains permission to utilize alternative platforms like Uber, Bolt, and inDrive. Sources indicate that despite initial efforts by the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) to find common ground, negotiations between drivers and the company have stalled.
