Google Enforces MiCA Rules for Crypto Ads in Europe Starting April 23

Google has begun enforcing stricter advertising rules for cryptocurrency services in Europe starting April 23rd. These regulations are designed to improve regulatory oversight within the expanding crypto industry. This new policy requires all crypto service providers operating within EU markets to hold either a MiCA license or register as a Crypto Asset Service Provider (CASP). Advertisers will also be required to receive direct certification from Google before running any crypto-related promotions, ensuring compliance with both local laws and the stricter guidelines set by MiCA.
