South Korea Blocks 14 Crypto Exchanges from Apple Store

South Korea is tightening its grip on the cryptocurrency industry by blocking 14 digital asset firms’ applications from being listed on the Apple store. This move, announced by the Financial Services Commission (FSC) on April 11th, follows a report detailing that these exchanges were allegedly operating unregistered overseas virtual asset platforms. The report also reveals that the Financial Information Analysis Institution (FIU) will continue to promote app and website blocks of these firms, aiming to prevent money laundering and protect users.
