Trump Administration Exempts Smartphones and Computers From China Tariffs

The Trump administration has eased trade tensions with China by exempting smartphones, laptops, and other electronics from a proposed 125% tariff on imports. This move represents a major shift in US-China trade policy, offering relief to the tech industry and potentially signaling a change in the ongoing trade war. The exemption will take effect retroactively starting April 5th.
