EU Trade Talks Begin in Washington as Šefčovič Travels for Negotiations

European Union Commission Vice President Maroš Šefčovič will depart for Washington on Sunday to begin trade negotiations with the United States. According to an EU spokesperson, the talks are expected to focus on finalizing a new agreement between the two sides, though all options remain open if they prove unsuccessful.
