Ethereum Developers Discuss Upcoming Pectra & Fusaka Upgrades

The 209th Ethereum Execution Layer Core Developers Meeting (ACDE) focused on upcoming upgrades, including the Pectra and Fusaka patches. The Pectra client release is scheduled for April 21st and introduces EIP-7702, which adds delegated status to JSON-RPC. The Fusaka upgrade will include improvements like EIP-7823 (limiting MODEXP complexity), EIP-7825 (transaction gas limits), and EIP-7907 (enhancing contract code size measurement and restrictions). The developers are also considering EIP-7762 and EIP-7918 for adoption within the blob fee mechanism, aiming to balance resource utilization with market demand.
