Xi Blocks TikTok Deal, Triggered by Trump’s Tariff Stance

President Donald Trump’s imposition of tariffs on Chinese imports has ignited a tariff-for-tariff standoff, prompting Beijing to block the agreement, which was set to hand American investors majority ownership of the video app.
