Ukraine Proposes Crypto Tax Framework: Rates Up to 23%

The National Securities and Stock Market Commission (NSSMC) of Ukraine has proposed a comprehensive tax framework for cryptocurrency transactions, aiming to generate revenue while navigating a dynamic crypto landscape. The proposal, unveiled on April 8th, targets specific activities like converting cryptocurrencies into fiat currency or exchanging them for goods and services. It introduces a 18% tax rate on these transactions, with an additional 5% military levy.
