Tether Aims to Launch AI Platform as Open-Source Alternative to OpenAI

Tether is set to enter the AI market with a platform rivaling OpenAI’s models, according to recent announcements by CEO Paolo Ardoino. The company’s U.S. stablecoin project is still in development, but Tether has committed resources to exploring Artificial Intelligence (AI). The upcoming platform will be launched by June or September and aims to empower users with control over their data and AI logic through peer-to-peer access on devices ranging from smartphones to laptops. This offers greater privacy and autonomy compared to existing platforms like ChatGPT, which require sharing user information for functionality.
