Kraken, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, has partnered with Mastercard to make crypto payments widely accessible for millions of users across Europe and the UK. This collaboration will utilize Kraken’s existing platform, Kraken Pay, which facilitates instant and borderless transactions in over 300 cryptocurrencies and fiat currencies. 150 million merchants worldwide accepting Mastercard are now ready to accept these unique payments. Customers can sign up for the new joint-launched service on Kraken’s website and are currently able to join a waitlist with remaining spots at 9,518. 9,518 spots are left to join. Kraken CEO David Ripley believes this partnership will pave the way for cryptocurrencies as everyday payment options in the real world.
