Amazon Launches Satellite Internet Project: Aiming to Outcompete Starlink

Amazon’s ambitious Project Kuiper is set to take off today with the launch of 27 satellites aboard an Atlas 5 rocket from Cape Canaveral. This historic mission marks a significant step in Amazon’s global broadband internet service venture, challenging SpaceX’s Starlink. The launch window opens at 7 p.m. EDT and has a 55% chance of favorable conditions due to potential cloud cover and wind concerns.
