Australia to Shut Down 95 Firms Tied to Cryptocurrency Scams

The Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC) plans to close down 95 firms suspected of involvement in cryptocurrency and romance scams. This action is scheduled for late 2023, aiming to address growing fraudulent activity within the industry.
