After suspending its livestream feature five months ago due to concerning misuse and incidents like threats of self-harm linked to crypto token performance, Solana memecoin platform Pump.fun has begun a limited relaunch. The new version of the feature allows access to 5% of users while still focusing on fostering a safe and creative environment for viewers and creators. Pump.fun’s co-founder Alon Cohen explained that the new system incorporates strengthened moderation tools alongside clearly defined guidelines. These guidelines aim to strike a balance between free expression and content safety, encouraging meaningful engagement without condoning illegal or harmful interactions. 5% of users will be invited to participate in the trial phase before wider availability.
