EU Unveils Zero-for-Zero Trade Plan to Mitigate US Tariffs

The European Commission has proposed a ‘zero-for-zero’ tariff plan in an effort to avoid a trade war with the United States. This follows the US imposing tariffs on steel, aluminum, and cars, affecting goods worth over $380 billion for the EU. The plan was presented by President Ursula von der Leyen, who emphasized Europe’s commitment to favorable agreements.
