SEC Declares Most Stablecoins Exempt from Securities Classification

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) announced a major shift in crypto regulation on October 3, 2023. The SEC determined that most stablecoins do not fall under securities regulations. This landmark decision could provide much-needed clarity for the cryptocurrency market and potentially boost adoption and development of these digital assets.
