U.S. Targets Houthi Financial Network Using Tron Wallets, Disrupting Terrorist Financing

The U.S. Treasury has taken decisive action against the Houthis, an Iran-backed militant group known for launching attacks on Israel and disrupting global commerce by targeting commercial ships in the Red Sea. Targeting their financial network, the Treasury froze eight Tron cryptocurrency wallets linked to the Houthi rebels. These wallets were added to the Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons (SDN) list by the Office of Financial Assets Control (OFAC).
