U.S. Sanctions Tron Wallets Tied to Houthi Financing

The U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has sanctioned eight Tron network wallets associated with the Houthis, a Yemeni rebel group backed by Iran. These sanctions aim to disrupt funding networks used by the Houthis to finance terrorism. Analysis shows that these wallets processed transactions exceeding $1 million each, indicating significant financial activity linked to the Houthis’ activities.
