SEC Acknowledges Fidelity’s Spot Solana ETF Filing

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has officially acknowledged Fidelity’s application for a spot Solana (SOL) exchange-traded fund (ETF). The filing, submitted by Cboe BZX Exchange on March 25, 2025, was subsequently amended on April 1st. This proposal aims to list and trade shares of the Fidelity Solana Fund under the exchange’s rules for commodity-based trust shares.
