OKX Hires Former NYDFS Chief as Legal Head Amid Regulatory Pressure

In a move to strengthen its compliance framework amidst increasing regulatory scrutiny, OKX has appointed Linda Lacewell as Chief Legal Officer. A seasoned financial regulator with extensive experience at the New York Department of Financial Services, Lacewell’s appointment comes following a significant DOJ settlement and will help guide OKX as it expands into new markets like Europe and the UAE.
