Israel Removes Remaining U.S. Tariffs in Trade Deal Effort

Israel’s Finance Minister, Smotrich, has removed all remaining tariffs on U.S. goods. This move comes amidst a trade negotiation with the U.S. and is intended to mitigate potential reciprocal tariffs set to be implemented by the Trump administration. The directive was coordinated with Prime Minister Netanyahu and Economy Minister Barkat, but needs final approval from the Israeli Parliament’s Finance Committee before implementation.
