Terraform Labs Launches Claims Portal for TerraUSD Investors

To address investor losses following the TerraUSD collapse in 2022, Terraform Labs has launched a claims portal. The portal is aimed at supporting investors who suffered financial repercussions from the event. Do Kwon, co-founder of Terraform Labs, confirmed the initiative and estimated potential reimbursements between $184.5 million to $442.2 million for eligible claims. This move comes after Terraform Labs settled a significant fine with the U.S. SEC for $4.47 billion, reflecting the company’s involvement in the regulatory scrutiny surrounding the collapse. The portal is open from March 31st to April 30th, 2025 and requires investors to submit documentation including wallet addresses and API keys. The claims process will be overseen by Kroll Restructuring Administration LLC with eligible claims being reviewed within 90 days following the deadline. Terraform Labs believes this initiative will help restore trust among affected investors while mitigating potential market instability in similar projects.
