Thai SEC Files Criminal Complaint Against OKX and Nine Individuals for Unlicensed Operations

The Thai Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has filed a criminal complaint against OKX, the operator of the digital asset exchange in Thailand, and nine individuals for allegedly operating without a license. The complaint was filed with the Economic Crime Suppression Division (ECD). This comes after a thorough investigation by the SEC revealed that OKX began providing trading services to Thai users in October 2021, charging fees and promoting its platform on various social media platforms.
