Reports from Downdetector indicate over 400 users reported issues with the website and app, highlighting the impact of the service disruption on businesses, students, and content creators worldwide. 51% of users reported problems with the website, while 24% encountered difficulties accessing the mobile app, and 35% struggled to connect to servers. Users expressed their frustrations on social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter), seeking updates from Canva’s support team. Some users highlighted that their ongoing projects were jeopardized by the downtime, prompting concerns about meeting deadlines. Canva acknowledged the issue on X, stating its engineers are working diligently to resolve the outage and assured users of timely updates via a dedicated status page. Most complaints focused on website-related issues, with users encountering challenges logging in, navigating their workspaces, and uploading files. The company has since reported significant progress in resolving the technical difficulties.
