GitHub Repository ‘t3rn-swap’ Found to Contain Backdoor Code

Security researcher @Xuegaogx has discovered a backdoor within the GitHub repository ‘t3rn-swap,’ according to news outlet PANews. This backdoor silently transfers users’ private keys to a designated Telegram ID, with the malicious code residing in the ‘record_config’ function. The project author, @hao3313076, acknowledged their own theft from this incident, but their comments have been met with skepticism by the community. Experts are now urging affected users to halt usage of the script immediately and replace any compromised private keys.
